Primary Responsibilities

The Civil Intern/Co-Op will work as a member of the civil engineering design team on projects serving clients in the New England area. The position includes preparation of plans, detail drawings, and quantity estimation for projects of various sizes and complexity. The Civil Department engages in several areas of design including highway & local roadway design, traffic engineering design, green infrastructure, stormwater management, drainage & grading, and multi-modal transportation designs for clients throughout New England including CTDOT, MassDOT, NHDOT, and RIDOT. The candidate will need to be a self-motivated individual who maintains a high level of professionalism while performing engineering assignments.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years completed toward degree
• Proficiency with MicroStation and/or Civil 3D
• Local candidates preferred
