Qualifications

• Assist with preparation of civil/structural engineering calculations, reports, construction drawings and specifications to meet project requirements

Responsibilities

• Work on a wide variety of projects including schools, health care centers, higher education facilities, office buildings, industrial buildings, commercial buildings, structural evaluations, civil/site structures, and water/wastewater treatment facilities

Civil Engineering Intern

The Peoria, IL office of Dewberry is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern for Summer 2027. This position performs assignments designed to develop professional work knowledge and abilities, requiring application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria in carrying out a sequence of related engineering tasks.

Required Skills & Required Experience

• Proficiency in REVIT and AutoCAD good working knowledge of MS Word and Excel required.

Salary Range

$18.75/hour - $29.75/hour. Depending upon other factors, i.e., skills, experience, location, market conditions, the range may vary slightly.

Summer Intern Program

During the summer intern program, interns gain hands-on project experience, develop technical skills, and put their classroom knowledge into action. Our interns are assigned meaningful work and are given the opportunity to work on projects similar to what they would be engaging with as a full-time employee.
