Job summary

The Dewberry Peoria, IL office is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern for Summer 2027. The role develops professional knowledge by applying standard techniques to a variety of civil and structural tasks.

You will assist on projects including schools, healthcare centers, higher education facilities, and office buildings. Currently pursuing a B.S. or M.S. in Civil or Architectural Engineering is required; REVIT and AutoCAD proficiency is preferred; teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a B.S. or M.S. in Civil or Architectural Engineering is required (Structural Engineering focus preferred).
• Exposure to Civil/Structural engineering design, leadership and communication skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced team with multiple deadlines.
• Assist with preparation of civil/structural calculations, reports, drawings and specifications to meet project requirements.

The Peoria, IL office of Dewberry is seekinga Civil Engineering Intern for Summer 2027. Required Skills & Required Experience

• Currently pursuing a a B.S. or M.S. in Civil or Architectural Engineering is required (focus in Structural Engineering preferred)

• Assist with preparation of civil/structuralengineering calculations, reports, construction drawings and specificationsto meet project requirements.

Salary Range

$18.75/hour - $29.75/hour. Depending upon other factors, i.e., skills, experience, location, market conditions, the range may vary slightly.
