Job summary

IMEG is seeking a Civil Engineering New Graduate in Bozeman, MT to join a team of experienced engineers delivering resilient infrastructure. This entry-level role provides hands-on design, analysis, and project execution experience with mentorship from day one.

You will assist with engineering analysis, field inspections, and site drainage and grading design while supporting residential and land development projects and staying within budget. Travel is up to 5% and the office is in Bozeman.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or equivalent is required.
• Basic skills or knowledge with AutoCAD Civil 3D and completing AutoCAD training is expected.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, plus ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic civil engineering calculations (hydraulic, traffic, site earthwork).
• Assist with engineering analysis, field inspections, and report writing.
• Assist in designing water and sewer systems for various scales.
• Support grading and stormwater designs for site plans.
• Interact with clients to gather requirements and communicate technical information.
• Support project execution within budgets and schedules.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to develop practical solutions.
• Contribute to IMEG quality control processes and regulatory compliance.
