Job summary

Pape-Dawson Engineers is seeking Civil Graduates in our Georgia offices following December 2026 and May 2027 graduation. The Civil Graduate will focus on land development and is available in Atlanta, Marietta, Duluth, and Alpharetta.

The role involves design, analysis, and implementation of projects within an engineering team under the guidance of a licensed P.E. Responsibilities include assisting in design and preparation of plans for site development, analyzing options, coordinating

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field from an ABET-accredited program.
• EIT certification or ability to obtain within 12 months of start date.
• Internship experience with a civil design firm is beneficial.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D and standard office tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design and preparation of plans for site development projects.
• Analyze design alternatives to meet site constraints and client objectives.
• Collaborate on permitting and regulatory compliance for site development.
• Prepare technical reports and documentation using MS Office.
• Direct and review work of engineering technicians for accuracy and quality.
• Collaborate with project managers and multidisciplinary teams on solutions.
