Job summary

E & A Consulting Group, Inc. in Omaha, NE seeks a Civil Engineering Leader to guide the civil engineering teams across residential and commercial land development projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.

This role requires a strong leader who can mentor engineers, manage budgets, coordinate with stakeholders, and drive process improvements while maintaining client-focused communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil, environmental, mechanical or electrical engineering.
• 15 years of progressively responsible engineering experience.
• 5 years of management experience.
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE).
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and project management skills with attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal communication and ability to distill complex topics for non-technical audiences.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills.

Responsibilities

• Communicate company goals and department expectations.
• Monitor and determine staffing and training needs.
• Hire, train, and supervise project managers and engineering staff, including external collaborations.
• Collaborate to create processes, standards, and procedures for engineering staff and teams.
• Communicate and collaborate with other department managers to improve communication, execution, and quality control.
• Lead research and development initiatives to identify opportunities for new projects and improved processes.
• Prepare and deliver engineering-related presentations internally and externally.
