Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with 1 year of practical engineering experience or an equivalent education/experience mix.
Knowledge of civil engineering practices and procedures related to construction plan design.
Ability to manage multiple projects and communicate effectively with staff and external partners.

Responsibilities

Provide information on drainage/flood plain issues, roadway plans, and subdivision plats to county personnel and the public.
Coordinate with contractors, utilities, developers, and regulators to develop or inspect project improvements.
Prepare/review hydraulic studies, construction plans, and subdivision plats; use computer-generated analyses as needed.
Conduct field investigations and evaluate drainage problems; recommend solutions.
Assist with subdivision inspections, bond releases, warranties, and project closeouts.
