Job summary

Kimley-Horn is seeking engineering graduates to join our Charlotte South Park, NC office in 2027. This is not a remote position and offers exposure to civil and environmental engineering projects.

Responsibilities include applying software tools to analyze and produce client deliverables, supporting pre-construction design, and collaborating across disciplines to realize client visions for the built environment.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree by Summer 2027 in listed majors.

Responsibilities

• Utilize technical software to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables for clients.
• Contribute to pre-construction civil design, planning, modification, permitting, and analysis for multiple projects.
• Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines to realize client visions.
• Develop familiarity with relevant regulations and Kimley-Horn practices and standards.
• Learn one or more discipline-specific software programs such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Excel, Microstation, VISSIM, Open Roads, Synchro, and GIS.

ABET accredited engineering degree (Bachelor's or Master's) by Summer 2027 in Civil and/or Environmental Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, Biological, Biosystems, Chemical, or Agricultural Engineering, or Engineering Technology
