Job summary

Avove Limited seeks a Civil Engineer to deliver end-to-end non-infrastructure design across our water/wastewater projects. The role involves feasibility studies, detailed design, and support through commissioning, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure robust, compliant, and efficient solutions.

Location in Warrington with flexible hybrid working (office/remote). The candidate should have a relevant degree and may be working towards professional qualification, with strong

Qualifications

• A relevant degree in civil/water/wastewater design; professional qualification preferred.
• Experience in water and/or wastewater non-infrastructure design desirable.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.
• Strong written and verbal communication and ability to structure technical reports.

Responsibilities

• Undertake non-infrastructure design activities with minimal supervision as part of multidisciplinary teams.
• Review and check work of others, providing guidance to junior staff.
• Interpret technical information and report findings clearly and accurately.
• Prepare drawings, reports, calculations and other technical outputs for construction.
• Produce engineering drawings and reports and undertake site surveys as required.
• Develop designs that meet client requirements and standards, ensuring cost effectiveness.
• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to build strong working relationships.
• Adhere to CDM regulations and embed health and safety in designs.
