Job summary

Leoforce in Everett, WA is seeking a highly motivated Civil Engineer at mid level to design, plan, and oversee civil construction projects. You will work with clients and project managers to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery and high quality standards.

Your responsibilities include creating plans and estimates for water, wastewater, roadways and utilities using AutoDesk Civil 3D and AutoCAD Civil, performing site visits, coordinating with stakeholders, and mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Civil EIT certification.
• 2+ years of experience in civil engineering design and construction.
• Proficient in AutoDesk Civil 3D, AutoCAD Civil, and other relevant software.
• Experience with water and wastewater systems, roadway design, and underground utilities.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of relevant codes, regulations, and standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop plans, specifications, and estimates for various civil engineering projects, such as water and wastewater systems, roadways, and underground utilities.
• Use AutoDesk Civil 3D and AutoCAD Civil software to create 3D models, drawings, and other design documents.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure that construction projects are in compliance with design specifications, codes, and regulations.
• Collaborate with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to identify project requirements, goals, and constraints.
• Prepare and submit reports, proposals, and other documentation related to civil engineering projects.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and other team members.
• Ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Participate in the development and implementation of engineering standards, policies, and procedures.
