Job summary

Civicworks seeks a Civil Engineer Trainee to assist the Illinois Department of Transportation in preparing plans and implementing highway construction projects across District 8. Located in Collinsville, IL, work is Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm, with a hybrid schedule of 1–5 days in office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in engineering from ABET-accredited college or EIT/PE/SE license.
• Minimum 2.0 GPA (out of 4.0).
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel district-wide.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to perform technical computations and estimates.
