Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Civil Engineer for the Starbase Infrastructure team in Texas. You will design, build, and activate infrastructure to support Starbase and other SpaceX facilities.

You will own tasks from start to finish, contributing to a world-class facility that enables life beyond Earth. The role involves civil design, calculations, coordination with contractors, and navigating permits in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
• Experience with land development projects.
• PE or EIT license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and issue drawings, design documentation, and reports for land development projects.
• Perform calculations for grading, drainage, stormwater control facilities, water distribution, and utilities.
• Collaborate with multi-discipline team for infrastructure projects.
• Coordinate permits with local, state, and federal authorities.
• Manage civil aspects of construction, including QC and cost control.
