Overview

LaBella Associates is looking for an entry level Engineer to join our Civil Division. Base pay range is $63,000.00/yr - $78,000.00/yr. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.

Responsibilities

• Storm water and wastewater infiltration testing and design
• Pavement evaluation and assessment
• Development of detailed construction drawings and specifications for steep slopes, site retaining walls, culverts, and pavement sections
• Field oversight of subsurface investigations and soil investigation services. Flexible schedule to arrive at project sites at required times, out of town work periodically
• Perform technical analysis and provide parameters for design based on subsurface investigation results
• Prepare interpretive engineering reports
• Perform field inspections during the construction phase, as needed

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in civil engineering or related field experience
• 0 to 5 years of progressive civil engineering experience with a focus on soil based design
• EIT or the ability to obtain within 12 months
• AutoCAD basic drafting capability
• Proficient in Microsoft productivity suite (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
• Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to collaborate efficiently with teammates in different disciplines and different locations
• Driver's license required
• Possess a high capacity for self-motivation and be able to apply engineering knowledge to a variety of projects. Ability and willingness to receive and understand instructions/guidance and complete tasks independently
• Ability to travel to different work sites

Salary

Salary Range: $63,000 - $78,000. The specific salary offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location.
