Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Experience in one or more civil disciplines: land/site development, transportation/roadway, water/wastewater, water resources, or municipal infrastructure.
• PE licensure preferred; EIT considered.
• Experience with design standards and regulatory processes; ability to prepare calculations and documents.

Responsibilities

• Land/Site Development: Site planning, grading, drainage, stormwater management, utility design, erosion control, permitting, and construction documents.
• Transportation/Roadway: Roadway geometry, horizontal/vertical alignments, intersections, drainage, signing, pavement markings, traffic control.
• Water/Wastewater: Design of water distribution, wastewater collection, pumping, treatment, transmission, utility infrastructure.
• Water Resources/Stormwater: Hydrologic and hydraulic analysis, drainage design, stormwater modeling, detention/retention systems, floodplain analysis.
• Municipal Infrastructure: Design and rehabilitation of streets, utilities, drainage systems, water/wastewater infrastructure
• Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, plans, specifications, cost estimates, permitting packages, and construction documents
• Support projects through planning, preliminary engineering, final design, permitting, bidding, and construction administration
• Coordinate with municipalities, DOTs, utility authorities, regulatory agencies, clients, and multidisciplinary project teams
• Provide project coordination, technical guidance, client interaction, and mentorship based on experience level

Education

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering

PE licensure preferred
