Job summary

Stillpoint AEC is seeking civil engineers with experience in land/site development, transportation/roadway, water/wastewater, water resources, or municipal infrastructure. Responsibilities align with your technical expertise, with PE licensure preferred and EIT candidates considered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Current civil engineering design experience within a consulting engineering or AEC environment preferred.
• Experience in Land/Site Development or Transportation/Roadway or Water/Wastewater or Water Resources or Municipal Infrastructure/Utilities.
• Professional Engineer (PE) licensure preferred; EIT candidates actively progressing toward PE licensure will be considered.
• Experience with design and modeling platforms such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, Bentley OpenRoads Designer, MicroStation, CivilWorks, WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS, StormCAD, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, InfoWorks or similar.
• Knowledge of applicable design standards, codes, permitting requirements, and regulatory processes.

Responsibilities

• Land/Site Development: site planning, grading, drainage, stormwater management, utility design, permitting, and construction documents.
• Transportation/Roadway: roadway geometry, alignments, drainage, traffic control, and infrastructure design.
• Water/Wastewater: design of water distribution, wastewater collection, pumping, treatment, and transmission systems.
• Water Resources/Stormwater: hydrologic and hydraulic analysis, drainage design, stormwater modeling, detention/retention systems.
• Municipal Infrastructure: design/rehabilitation of streets, utilities, drainage systems, and related public works.
• Prepare calculations, reports, and construction documents; support through planning to construction.
• Coordinate with municipalities, DOTs, utility authorities, regulatory agencies, clients, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Provide project coordination, technical guidance, client interaction, and mentorship.
