Job summary

Stillpoint AEC is partnering with a respected civil engineering consulting firm to deliver diverse infrastructure projects across the region. The role emphasizes design excellence, collaboration, and client coordination in a dynamic team environment.

The candidate will contribute to site development, transportation, and water resources projects, with opportunities for mentorship and career growth. PE licensure preferred; EIT considered. Hybrid/onsite work options available based on project needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• PE licensure preferred; EIT candidates considered.
• Experience in one or more areas: Land/Site Development or Transportation/Roadway or Water/Wastewater or Water Resources or Municipal Infrastructure/Utilities.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Bentley OpenRoads Designer, MicroStation, WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS, StormCAD, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, InfoWorks or similar software.
• Working knowledge of design standards, codes, permitting requirements, and regulatory processes.
• Experience preparing calculations, plans, specifications, reports, and construction documents.

Responsibilities

• Land/Site Development: planning, grading, drainage, stormwater management, utility design, permitting and documents.
• Transportation/Roadway: geometry, alignments, drainage, traffic control and roadway design.
• Water/Wastewater: design of distribution, collection, pumping, treatment, and utility infrastructure.
• Water Resources/Stormwater: hydrology/hydraulics, drainage, stormwater modeling, floodplain analysis.
• Municipal Infrastructure: design and rehabilitation of streets, utilities and public works.
• Prepare calculations, reports, plans, specs, cost estimates, and construction documents.
• Support projects through planning, preliminary design, final design, permitting, bidding, and construction administration.
• Coordinate with municipalities, DOTs, utilities, regulatory agencies, clients, and teams.
• Provide mentoring and technical guidance based on experience level.
