Job summary

Stillpoint AEC is seeking civil engineers with experience in land/site development, transportation/roadway, water/wastewater, water resources, or municipal infrastructure. Responsibilities align with your discipline and prior project experience.

You will contribute to design, permitting, and construction documents, with opportunities for project ownership and client interaction. Firm supports PE licensure and professional development, with hybrid/onsite work options.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
  • Current civil engineering design experience within a consulting engineering or AEC environment preferred.
  • Experience in Land/Site Development, Transportation/Roadway, Water/Wastewater, Water Resources or Municipal Infrastructure/Utilities.
  • PE licensure preferred; EIT candidates actively progressing toward PE licensure will be considered.
  • Experience with design and modeling software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, Bentley OpenRoads Designer, MicroStation, CivilWorks, WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS, StormCAD, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, InfoWorks or similar.
  • Working knowledge of applicable engineering standards, codes, permitting requirements and regulatory processes.
  • Experience preparing calculations, plans, specifications, reports, and construction documents.

Responsibilities

  • Land/Site Development: Site planning, grading, drainage, stormwater management, utility design, erosion control, permitting, and construction documents.
  • Transportation/Roadway: Geometry, alignments, intersections, drainage, traffic control, and infrastructure design.
  • Water/Wastewater: Design of water distribution, wastewater collection, pumping, treatment, and transmission.</br>
  • Water Resources/Stormwater: Hydrologic and hydraulic analysis, drainage design, detention/retention and floodplain analysis.
  • Municipal Infrastructure: Design/rehabilitation of streets, utilities, drainage, and water/wastewater infrastructure.
  • Prepare calculations, reports, plans, specs, cost estimates, and permitting packages.
  • Support planning, preliminary engineering, final design, permitting, bidding and construction administration.
  • Coordinate with municipalities, DOTs, utility authorities, regulatory agencies, clients, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Provide project coordination, technical guidance, client interaction, and mentorship.
