Job summary

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
- Current civil engineering design experience within a consulting engineering or AEC environment preferred.
- Experience in one or more areas: Land/Site Development, Transportation/Roadway, Water/Wastewater, Water Resources, or Municipal Infrastructure/Utilities.
- Professional Engineer (PE) licensure preferred; EIT candidates progressing toward PE licensure considered.
- Experience with design and modeling platforms such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, Bentley OpenRoads, MicroStation, WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS, StormCAD, HEC-RAS/HMS, InfoWorks or similar.
- Working knowledge of design standards, codes, permitting, and regulatory processes.
Responsibilities
- Site planning, grading, drainage, stormwater management, utility design, erosion control, permitting, and construction documents.
- Roadway geometry, alignments, drainage, traffic control, and transportation infrastructure design.
- Design of water distribution, wastewater collection, pumping, treatment, and municipal systems.
- Hydrologic/hydraulic analysis, drainage design, stormwater modeling, and detention/retention systems.
- Design and rehabilitation of streets, utilities, drainage, and water/wastewater infrastructure.
- Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, plans, specifications, cost estimates, and permitting packages.
- Support projects through planning, preliminary engineering, final design, permitting, bidding, and construction administration.
- Coordinate with municipalities, DOTs, utility authorities, regulatory agencies, clients, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Provide project coordination, technical guidance, client interaction, and mentorship based on experience level.
