Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Current civil engineering design experience within a consulting engineering or AEC environment preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) licensure preferred; EIT candidates actively progressing toward PE licensure will also be considered.
• Experience with civil engineering design and modeling platforms such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, Bentley OpenRoads Designer, MicroStation, CivilWorks, WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS, StormCAD, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, InfoWorks, or similar software preferred.
• Working knowledge of applicable design standards, codes, permitting requirements, and regulatory processes.
• Experience preparing calculations, plans, specifications, reports, and construction documents

Responsibilities

• Land/Site Development: site planning, grading, drainage, stormwater management, utility design, erosion control, permitting, and construction documents.
• Transportation/Roadway: roadway geometry, alignments, drainage, traffic control, and infrastructure design.
• Water/Wastewater: design of water distribution, wastewater collection, pumping, treatment, transmission, and related infrastructure.
• Water Resources/Stormwater: hydrologic analyses, drainage design, stormwater modeling, detention/retention systems, floodplain analysis.
• Municipal Infrastructure: design/rehabilitation of streets, utilities, drainage, water/wastewater infrastructure.
• Prepare calculations, reports, plans, specs, cost estimates, and documents for your discipline.
• Support projects through planning, preliminary engineering, final design, permitting, bidding, and construction administration.
• Coordinate with municipalities, DOTs, utility authorities, regulatory agencies, clients, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Provide project coordination, technical guidance, client interaction, and mentorship based on experience level
