Job summary

SNIPEBRIDGE is seeking a Civil Engineer to join our Houston team, supporting site development, utility and infrastructure projects from concept through construction. You will own technical deliverables, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure compliance with codes and regulations.

With 5–10+ years of civil engineering experience and a PE license preferred, you will mentor junior engineers, manage multiple projects, and deliver high-quality designs using Civil 3D and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 5-10+ years of civil engineering experience; PE license preferred.
• Proficiency in Civil 3D, AutoCAD; HydroCAD familiarity a plus.
• Strong understanding of local permitting and entitlement processes.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously; must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop site plans, including grading, drainage, utilities, and roadway layouts.
• Prepare construction documents, technical specifications, and engineering calculations.
• Coordinate with surveyors, architects, contractors, and municipal reviewers throughout entitlement and permitting.
• Manage project deliverables against budget and schedule.
• Perform site visits and construction observation to ensure design intent is met.
• Mentor junior engineers and support quality control across deliverables.
• Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal codes and regulations.
