Job summary

Sunde Engineering, a civil and environmental engineering consulting firm, is seeking a Civil Engineer for an onsite role in Bloomington, MN. You will lead preparation of construction documents for site development, including layout, grading, drainage, utilities, and erosion control, while supporting environmental permitting submissions.

Candidates should have a Civil Engineering degree, at least 2 years of experience, and proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and HydroCAD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant civil engineering experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and HydroCAD stormwater modeling.
• Solid understanding of site design, stormwater management, and grading.
• Familiarity with current water resources rules and regulations preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Ideally EIT with intent to obtain a PE.

Responsibilities

• Lead and collaborate with design staff in the preparation of construction documents for site development, including site layout, grading and drainage, site utilities, and erosion control.
• Assist in preparing environmental permitting submissions.
• Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D for plan design and HydroCAD for stormwater modeling.
