Job summary

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or related field).
Passed or scheduled to take the FE Exam (EIT preferred).
0–2 years of experience (internships/co-ops preferred).
Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar design software.
Basic understanding of site design, stormwater management, and grading.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

Assist in the design of site development projects including grading, drainage, and utility layouts.
Support preparation of construction drawings, reports, and technical specifications.
Perform basic hydrologic and hydraulic calculations for stormwater systems.
Assist with storm sewer, culvert, and erosion control design.
Support permitting efforts with local, state, and federal agencies.
Conduct data analysis and use engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D, hydrology models).
Participate in field visits and construction observation as needed.
Collaborate with project managers and senior engineers on project deliverables.
