Job summary

Sunde Engineering in Bloomington, MN seeks a Civil Engineer to lead site development document preparation and coordination with design staff. The role focuses on site layout, grading, drainage, utilities, and erosion control, with a strong emphasis on water resources rules.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of civil engineering experience and is proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D and HydroCAD for stormwater modeling, with EIT preferred and a path to PE.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of civil engineering experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and HydroCAD stormwater modeling.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ideally EIT with intent to obtain a PE.

Responsibilities

• Lead and collaborate with design staff in preparing construction documents for site development.
• Prepare site layout, grading and drainage, site utilities, and erosion control.
• Assist in environmental permitting submissions.
• Apply knowledge of current water resources rules and regulations.
