Overview

Our growth offers an exciting opportunity for a Senior Technical Civil Engineer with 8+ years of land development experience to join our team. The individual will collaborate closely with the local lead to deliver exceptional services to clients, focusing on overseeing the design and production of civil engineering plans and ensuring quality standards are met.

Qualifications

• Civil engineering degree with 8+ years of experience
• Preferably a PE license

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage site layouts, grading plans, and earthwork calculations
• Design and permit stormwater management and erosion and sedimentation control systems
• Prepare and submit local land development permits, ensuring compliance with regulations
• Oversee quality assurance throughout project development and delivery
• Provide mentorship to junior staff, fostering growth and expertise
• Design utility systems, including trenchless technologies, and resolve field issues
• Apply expertise in foundation and geotechnical engineering
• Write specifications and prepare bid documents

Required Experience

• 8+ years in civil or utility-related engineering
• PE License preferred
• Strong background in site layout, grading, stormwater, and erosion control design
• Experience with civil utility design and trenchless technology
• Understanding of construction and field issue resolution
• Experience in specification writing
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
