The Greenridge Group, a prime contractor and consulting firm, seeks an experienced Civil Engineer to support the Los Angeles Unified School District Facilities Services Division in California. This role requires a CA-licensed PE with strong civil design and site development experience on public or commercial projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of full-time professional experience in civil design on commercial or public-agency projects.
• Educational/K-12 facilities experience is highly preferred.
• Valid California Professional Engineer (PE) license in Civil Engineering – required.
• Experience with AutoCAD design software – required.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Adobe, and other standard office software.

Responsabilités

• Perform complex civil engineering work related to planning, design, and construction of LAUSD facilities and site improvements.
• Review civil engineering plans, specifications, design drawings, and technical documents for compliance with codes, District standards, and project requirements.
• Provide technical direction and coordination to architects, consulting engineers, District personnel, and other project professionals.
• Support civil site development involving grading, paving, parking, streets, storm drainage, sewer systems, fencing, utilities, and other site improvements.
• Assist with project scope development, budget preparation, design review, and technical coordination.
• Provide technical guidance and resolve civil engineering issues encountered during construction.
• Coordinate with the City of Los Angeles and consultants for permits and approvals related to off-site improvements.
