Civil Design, Inc. (CDI) is seeking a Civil Engineer – Roadway Project Manager in Illinois with IL DOT experience. You will lead transportation projects, manage scopes and budgets, and coordinate with staff, clients and officials.
The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, a PE license, and 5–15+ years of experience. ORDs, MicroStation proficiency, and a team-focused, communicative mindset are essential. Travel up to 10% and a supportive ESOP culture.

Since its founding in 1996, our team has grown to over 150 team members with six locations. We operate in three states serving our six service lines – Infrastructure + Analytics, Site, Structures, Survey, Transportation, and Water Resources. We have office locations in Missouri – St. Louis and Jefferson City, Illinois – Collinsville and Effingham, and Kentucky – Louisville and Prestonsburg.

This role can be based out of Collinsville, IL, Effingham, IL, or St. Louis, MO. The travel expected is up to 10%.

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $85,000-$120,000/year. Compensation will vary based upon relevant experience, education, skill level, and other compensable factors.
