WSP seeks a Civil Engineer to join its Renewable Energy Team in Chelmsford, MA or Boston, MA. You will support planning, design, permitting, and construction of solar, battery storage, and other renewable projects across New England.

The role emphasizes collaboration across disciplines and delivering practical, compliant civil designs. You will design site layouts, manage drainage and stormwater, and contribute to regulatory coordination, feasibility analyses, and environmental compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 4–6 years of civil engineering experience.
• Experience with site development, grading, drainage, stormwater management, and permitting.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and related software.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, design, permitting, and construction of renewable energy and land development projects.
• Design site layouts, grading plans, and drainage calculations using Civil 3D.
• Assist with permitting strategies, regulatory coordination, and environmental compliance.
• Prepare technical reports, calculations, and drawings for project deliverables.
