Job summary

WSP Global Inc. is seeking an Associate Civil Engineer to join our Renewable Energy Team in Chelmsford, MA or Boston, MA. You’ll work on solar, battery storage, and other renewable energy developments across New England by developing site layouts, drainage, and permitting strategies.

You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide practical engineering solutions, perform analyses, and contribute to projects from concept to construction while upholding safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related engineering discipline.
• 1–3 years of civil engineering experience.
• Experience with site development, grading, drainage and permitting.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and related software.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop site layouts, grading plans, and construction drawings using Civil 3D.
• Design stormwater management systems and perform hydraulic and drainage calculations.
• Support civil, water resources, and environmental design efforts for renewable energy projects.
• Perform site investigations, field assessments, and engineering analyses.
• Prepare reports, calculations, and project documentation.
