Job summary

RIIM in Bucks County, PA seeks an experienced Civil Engineer to lead private subdivision and land development projects from planning through construction, coordinating design and regulatory approvals.

The role requires a PE license (PA preferred), 5–7+ years of private land development experience, and proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MS Office; stormwater, GIS, and public testimony experience are a plus.

Job description

• Lead private subdivision and land development projects from planning and feasibility through final design, permitting, approvals, and construction.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, technical deliverables, quality standards, and client expectations.
• Design site layouts, roadway alignments, grading plans, stormwater management systems, BMPs, drainage plans, drawings, and specifications.
• Conduct site feasibility studies, due diligence, zoning reviews, and municipal/regulatory coordination to secure project approvals.
• Build and maintain relationships with private clients, developers, attorneys, municipalities, and regulatory agencies.
• Mentor and supervise junior engineers, designers, and CADD technicians while coordinating multidisciplinary project teams.
• Require a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, an active Professional Engineer (PE) license (Pennsylvania PE preferred), approximately 5–7+ years of experience, private land development expertise, and proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office; stormwater modeling, GIS, and public testimony experience are advantageous.
