Civil Engineer - Project Manager

Our growth offers an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to oversee land development projects from start to finish. This role requires a leader who can manage client relationships, direct project execution, and ensure high-quality deliverables within scope, budget, and timeline.

Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate with 10+ years of experience as a civil engineer and a PE license in the state where they will be based. They should have experience leading and mentoring junior staff members. The primary focus will be on land development projects within the retail, commercial, and residential sectors, working closely with municipal agencies and multiple disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and execution of retail, commercial, and residential land development projects.
• Act as the primary client contact, building strong relationships and managing expectations.
• Oversee project teams, assign resources, and drive efficiency.
• Ensure projects meet all quality, schedule, and budgetary requirements.
• Present at public meetings and represent clients before agencies and stakeholders.
• Collaborate across multiple disciplines within BL Companies and with external partners.
• Mentor junior engineers and staff, fostering a strong learning environment.

Required Experience & Qualifications

• PE License required.
• 10+ years of experience in land development engineering.
• Proven leadership experience managing full-time staff.
• Strong understanding of local, state, and federal regulations.
• Experience with municipal agencies, regulatory bodies, and private sector clients.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
