Job summary

System One is seeking a Civil Engineer (PE) in Amarillo, TX to lead civil design for site development, grading, drainage, foundations, roads and utilities. You will coordinate with structural, electrical, mechanical, and environmental engineers to deliver integrated solutions and mentor junior staff.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering, active PE or ability to obtain within 6 months, and 5+ years of relevant experience in EPC or heavy industrial settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and PE licensure or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• 5+ years of civil engineering experience, EPC or heavy industrial setting preferred.
• Proficient with Civil 3D, AutoCAD, StormCAD, HEC-RAS and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform civil design for site development, grading, drainage and utilities.
• Develop calculations, drawings, specs and cost estimates.
• Coordinate with structural, electrical, mechanical and environmental engineers.
• Provide mentorship to junior engineers and CAD designers.
• Support permitting with regulatory agencies and review submittals.
• Inspect sites, evaluate progress, and assist in bid evaluations.
