Job summary

A full-service architectural and engineering firm is seeking a Civil Engineer with PE to join a team focused on site development and infrastructure design. You will work on diverse projects across educational, commercial, industrial, governmental, and institutional buildings, collaborating with in-house architects and engineers to deliver top-tier results.

The role requires 4+ years of civil engineering experience, strong writing and communication skills, and proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D,

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with Licensed Professional Engineer (PE).
• 4+ years of Civil Engineer experience.
• Experience in site/land development and stormwater design.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and hydrology/hydraulic software.
• Strong technical writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assume responsible charge for the overall economic well-being of assigned project designs.
• Perform hydrologic modeling and stormwater runoff calculations.
• Conduct horizontal alignment, vertical alignment, and cross-sectional design.
• Demonstrate proficiency in site layout, grading, utility design, sediment and erosion control, sanitary and storm sewer design, hydraulic modeling, and post-construction stormwater management system design while working with various regulatory agencies.
• Effectively communicate, coordinate, and collaborate with diverse teams across design disciplines to achieve a superior work product, including the documentation of design changes.
• Lead small/moderate design teams on site development-specific projects.
