Qualifications

• ABET-accredited BS in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Active North Carolina PE license (or reciprocity).
• 4–8+ years of progressive civil site design and land development experience.
• Strong AutoCAD Civil 3D, HydroCAD, and MS Office skills.
• Clear technical writing and client-facing communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead site civil / land development design, grading, and site layouts.
• Design gravity sewer networks, water distribution, pumps, and utilities.
• Model stormwater; design SCMs/BMPs and detention/retention basins.
• Navigate NC ordinances and obtain permit approvals.
• Review calculations and seal deliverables as a Professional Engineer.
• Collaborate with land surveyors, structural engineers, clients, and contractors.
