FINITETEK INC. seeks an experienced Civil Engineer and leader to manage its Harrisonburg office, overseeing a team of engineering, surveying, and administrative staff.

The role combines technical oversight, team leadership, office management, and business development to drive growth across Virginia and the Mid-Atlantic region. The candidate will join senior management after an initial familiarization period, contributing to strategic planning, client relationships, and operational improvements

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• P.E. license preferred in Virginia or able to reciprocity.
• 8+ years of civil/site land development design and project management experience.
• Experience managing engineering teams/office.
• Strong client development and proposal / project delivery experience.
• Understanding of project financials, budgeting and resource management.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and mentor a team of engineers, surveyors, and admin staff (~12).
• Oversee civil site engineering operations, ensuring quality, schedules, and budgets.
• Provide guidance on land development, rezonings, site layout, grading, utilities, stormwater.
• Oversee Survey Manager and in-house surveying activities.
• Manage office financials: proposals, budgeting, forecasting, invoicing, resourcing.
