About the Role

Our client is seeking a committed Civil Engineer to manage and contribute to municipal infrastructure projects in East London . This role involves the design, planning, and supervision of projects related to water supply, sanitation, roads, and stormwater management for the municipality. You will play a key role in enhancing the public infrastructure and services for the community in the Eastern Cape. The successful candidate will possess strong technical skills, a good understanding of municipal engineering standards, and a passion for public service and community development.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop plans for municipal infrastructure projects, including water reticulation, sewer networks, and road upgrades.


• Manage project execution from conceptualization through to construction and handover.


• Conduct site investigations, feasibility studies, and prepare technical reports.


• Ensure compliance with all relevant South African national and municipal standards and regulations.


• Supervise contractors and consultants involved in infrastructure development projects.
