Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of civil engineering design experience in residential and commercial land development.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for client interactions and public presentations.
• Proven ability to independently prepare grading plans, stormwater analyses, and utility designs.
• Experience preparing Notices of Intent and navigating local permitting processes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare comprehensive site design, grading, utility layouts, and stormwater management reports.
• Draft Notices of Intent and coordinate wetland filings with local regulatory agencies.
• Design subsurface disposal septic systems and infrastructure in compliance with zoning bylaws.
• Coordinate technical deliverables with clients and multidisciplinary teams to meet milestones.
• Represent the firm at public hearings and board meetings to present designs and answer questions.
• Model stormwater runoff scenarios using AutoCAD and HydroCAD to optimize site plans.
