Leddy Group is assisting a client in Portsmouth or Concord, NH to hire a Senior Civil Engineer for coordinating and managing complex road and water projects. This direct-hire position emphasizes collaboration, attention to codes, and client satisfaction.

Ideal candidates bring 15 years of related experience (10+ years in engineering roles). The role supports relocation to NH and offers generous PTO, parking, and seasonal summer Fridays in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• 15 years of related experience with 10 years of experience in a related engineering or technically focused role.
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills.
• Experience with Bluebeam, SewerCAD, WaterCAD, WaterGEMS, HydroCAD, BioWin (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Project Manager on a variety of large and complex projects, ensuring project and client needs are met.
• Apply specialized expertise and thorough understanding of applicable codes, regulations, and engineering standards.
• Lead decision making on basis of design and develop concepts, equipment evaluation, and design computations.
• Oversee communication with regulatory officials and clients.
• Provide leadership to project team members, sub-consultants, and junior engineers.
• Review, update, and oversee all project-related documentation.
• Visit construction sites to provide technical support and help solve issues.
• Perform additional tasks as required.
