Job summary

Innovative Information Technologies, Inc. in Doylestown, PA is seeking a Civil Designer with 2–3 years of private subdivision and land development experience.

You will design site, grading, utility and roadway plans and collaborate with Project Managers and Senior Designers through project milestones. The role requires AutoCAD and Civil 3D skills, a solid understanding of stormwater management, and strong communication to coordinate with municipal authorities and consultants.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of progressive private subdivision and land development design experience.
• Experience preparing site plans, grading plans, utility plans or roadway plans.
• Fundamental understanding of stormwater management and erosion control design.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sketch plans, site plans, grading plans, utility plans, roadway plans and utility profile plans.
• Support layout and design development through the project lifecycle, and assist with subdivision and land development plan packages.
• Prepare technical drawings, reports and submissions; support documentation and submission packages.
• Review zoning ordinances, subdivision and land development regulations, stormwater management requirements and other municipal and agency requirements that affect the design.
• Support stormwater management design, stormwater calculations, and erosion and sediment control design.
• Meet regularly with Project Managers, coordinate goals, schedules and technical requirements, and give regular updates on assigned tasks.
