As a Staff Consultant with Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) in our Boston, MA office, you will work with project teams to create permitting and construction plans, earth disturbance permit applications, and municipal zoning and land development applications for our commercial, industrial, energy, institutional, and residential clients. From port facilities to multi‑family housing, distribution centers, and retail shopping centers, you'll contribute to designing site layouts and grading, erosion and sedimentation controls, storm water management facilities, and site utilities. You will collaborate with Assistant Project Managers and Project Managers to execute projects and have the opportunity to interact with clients, contractors, and local government officials throughout all project phases—from conceptual design, regulatory review, bidding, construction, through to project completion.
Oversee the development and preparation of project deliverables, including permitting, construction plans, and regulatory documentation. Assist in coordinating project schedules and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Participate in client meetings, contractor coordination, and government agency interactions. Support project managers through all project phases and contribute to project bidding and construction oversight.
