Job summary

Stillpoint AEC is partnering with a respected civil engineering firm to deliver land development and site civil projects across residential, commercial, and mixed-use sectors.

The Civil Engineer will lead design efforts, perform hydrologic/hydraulic analyses, and coordinate with clients and jurisdictions, growing expertise toward project ownership and leadership while benefiting from licensure support and a collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Current land development or site civil design experience in a consulting environment is preferred.
• Experience with site planning, grading, drainage, and utility design.
• PE licensure is preferred; EIT candidates progressing toward PE will be considered.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D for land development and site civil design is preferred.
• Experience with stormwater/hydrologic/hydraulic modeling tools is preferred.
• Knowledge of land development design standards, regulations, and permitting processes.
• Experience preparing civil calculations, plans, and construction documents.

Responsibilities

• Design and support land development and site civil projects for various development types.
• Perform site planning, grading, drainage, stormwater management, and utility design.
• Develop site layouts, grading, drainage, and utility plans with detailed construction drawings.
• Design water and sanitary systems, drainage facilities, and related infrastructure.
• Perform hydrologic and hydraulic calculations and stormwater analyses.
• Prepare calculations, reports, plans, specs, and permitting packages.
• Support feasibility studies, due diligence, and permitting processes.
• Coordinate with developers, municipalities, and project teams.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship based on experience.
