Kimley-Horn's Peachtree Corners, GA office is seeking a Civil Engineer with 4+ years of experience to join the Land Development team. The role involves site development engineering, project management, permitting, and coordination with clients and multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities include designing land development projects, managing budgets and schedules, and producing construction documents. This is a non-remote, on-site position in Peachtree Corners with strong growth and

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant engineering design experience.
• Professional Engineering (P.E.) License (or ability to obtain within 12 months).
• Experience with site civil design, permitting, and software applications including hydrology modeling program, storm drainage programs, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D.
• Experience with task management, concept design, and assisting project management tasks.
• Familiar with coordinating with clients, attending client meetings, and overseeing quality standards.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Ability to build plan sets and other construction documents.
• Design experience including utilities, site layout, drainage, due diligence and permitting.

Responsibilities

• Perform site development engineering and project management tasks for residential and commercial projects.
• Manage land development site designs across projects.
• Coordinate research, permitting, bid packages, and technical specifications.
• Monitor project progress, budgets, and schedules.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, jurisdictions, and contractors.
