Job summary

MKEC is seeking a Civil Engineer to join our Land Development team in Wichita (in office). You will assist with design for residential and commercial developments, schools, hospitals, and more, coordinating with staff to meet client objectives.

The role requires a B.S. in Civil Engineering and 4+ years of land development or municipal experience, with proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D. PE license in Kansas is preferred or attainable in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering is required.
• 4+ years of land development or municipal engineering experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D is required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; Kansas PE license preferred or attainable soon.

Responsibilities

• Assist the project manager in all design aspects for land development and municipal projects.
• Prepare calculations and reports as required.
• Coordinate and oversee plans for grading, paving, drainage, and utilities with production staff.
