AMT, LLC in Washington, DC seeks a motivated Civil Engineer Intern for the 2027 internship (May–August 2027, flexible). This paid, full-time internship includes mentorship from project managers as you support diverse civil/transportation projects.

Candidates must be enrolled in Civil/Transportation Engineering with a 3.0 GPA, and demonstrate strong communication and problem-solving skills. AutoCAD and MS Office experience are preferred, with a clear eagerness to learn and grow.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in Civil/Transportation Engineering or related field.
• GPA 3.0 or higher required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support various project tasks including regulatory reviews, research, and procurement support.
• Perform data entry, management, evaluation, and presentation.
• Assist in preparing reports, plans, and specifications for clients.
• May work on field assignments as needed.
• Mentors and team leaders will support you.
