Job summary

ECM Consultants is seeking a Civil Engineer Intern to perform a full range of engineering functions, including analysis, troubleshooting, existing-condition assessments, planning, engineering studies, scope-of-work development, cost estimating, design and construction document review, and project schedule review.

In this role, you will prepare plans and specifications for construction, maintenance, and repair projects while supporting public health, safety, and welfare through strong quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited university.
• Engineer Intern license required.
• Professional Engineer license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Attend project meetings and prepare meeting minutes.
• Prepare plans and specifications in accordance with project scopes of work.
• Perform design calculations as needed.
• Maintain project documents and construction records.
• Coordinate with clients, subconsultants, utility companies, and other project stakeholders.
• Prepare complete bid packages.
• Create and edit reports for construction, maintenance, and repair projects.
• Organize and plan daily tasks to ensure efficient use of time and resources.
• Assist in preparing pre-inspection packages, including analysis, scope-of-work development, and cost estimates.
• Coordinate and perform field inspections to assess existing conditions.
