DLR Group, an integrated design firm, seeks a Civil Engineer to join a multidisciplinary team in Omaha. You will design site development projects, coordinate with architects and clients, and prepare civil documents using Civil 3D.

Candidates should have a PE license, 5+ years of site development experience, and strong communication skills. The firm operates a four‑day in‑office model with Friday remote work options and offers employee ownership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Licensed Professional Civil Engineer (PE).
• 5+ years of civil engineering experience, site development.
• Experience in an A/E or Civil Engineering design firm.
• Experience with Autodesk Civil 3D.
• Working knowledge of Hydraflow, Storm/Sanitary Sewer Analysis, InfraWorks.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with architects, engineers and clients in an integrated design process.
• Design and prepare site development documents using Civil 3D.
• Perform civil calculations and code research.
• Prepare engineering reports and permit applications.
• Review shop drawings and construction correspondence.
• Conduct site visits as needed.
