Job summary

SSOE Group's Industrial Facilities team in Austin, Texas seeks a Civil Engineer to apply site development, grading, utilities, and stormwater design on large projects. You'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a culture that values innovation and professional growth, with an in-office role at our Austin location.

The ideal candidate holds a Civil Engineering degree and ideally an E.I.T. and PE, with experience in Autodesk Civil 3D and storm/sanitary analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, qualifying for licensure in the state of practice.
• Engineer-In-Training (E.I.T.) certification and PE tracked strongly preferred with 2+ years with SSOE as Engineer 1 or 2, or 3+ years with former employer.
• Experience with Autodesk Civil 3D; Storm & Sanitary Analysis or Infodrainage preferred.
• Salary range: $100,000 to $105,000 per year, depending on location, education, experience, and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates, selects, and applies standard Civil engineering methods on small and large projects.
• Receives instructions on assignment objectives, complex features, and assistance in deriving possible solutions to unusual problems.
• Design experience in Site Geometric Layout, grading, storm water drainage, sanitary sewer, water layouts, ESCP and SWPP.
• Writes portions of specifications and assists in preparing cost estimates.
• Performs design work in Autodesk Civil 3D.
• Travel required.
• Valid driver's license required.
