Job summary

Cushing Terrell's Seattle office is seeking a Civil Engineer in Training to develop construction documents for site projects. You will draft plans with AutoCAD Civil 3D, perform calculations, and research jurisdictional requirements under a senior engineer's guidance.

You will contribute to plans, specs, and memos for site systems and water/wastewater design, with opportunities to grow technical independence while supporting construction administration.

Qualifications

• ABET accredited degree in Civil Engineering
• Minimum of 1 year of related job experience within the US
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing

Responsibilities

• Support licensed project engineers on the design of civil site projects
• Plan layouts for small scale projects and coordinate deliverables across departments
• Research jurisdictional requirements to inform project design decisions
• Prepare project plans and specifications using AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office
• Perform engineering calculations to support project design
• Draft technical memorandums and reports summarizing findings and recommendations
• Support construction administration, including onsite field observation
