Innovative Engineering & Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Civil Engineer in Training (EIT) to support the planning, design, and production of civil projects, including land development, transportation, municipal infrastructure, and utility improvements.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and proficient in CAD software. You will prepare and revise drawings in AutoCAD Civil 3D and assist with site layout, grading, drainage, and utility design.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• EIT certification or ability to obtain within six months.
• Familiarity with civil engineering design principles and industry standards.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and revise engineering drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Assist with site layout, grading, drainage, utility, and roadway design.
• Support project engineers with design calculations and technical documentation.
• Prepare plans, exhibits, specifications, and construction documents.
• Coordinate with engineers, surveyors, project managers, and clients.
• Conduct field visits and assist with data collection as needed.
• Maintain project files and ensure adherence to company drafting standards.
• Assist with hydrologic and hydraulic design of stormwater drainage systems.
