Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT/EI) certification.
• 2+ years of civil engineering experience in land development or related projects.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil3D and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Understanding of land development design principles, permitting processes, and regulatory requirements.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design of commercial, residential, mixed-use, and site development projects from concept to construction.
• Prepare engineering plans, specifications, reports, and cost estimates.
• Evaluate design alternatives for grading, drainage, utilities, roadways, and site development requirements.
• Develop construction documents using AutoCAD Civil3D and other engineering software.
• Support permitting efforts and coordinate with local agencies.
• Collaborate with planners, landscape architects, surveyors, and engineers.
• Review work and guide junior staff to ensure quality and consistency.
• Assist project managers with project delivery, client coordination, and problem-solving.
