Job summary

Pape-Dawson Engineers is seeking an Engineer III in Fort Myers, FL to contribute to planning, analysis, design, and delivery of civil engineering projects within a multidisciplinary team. You will work under licensed engineers, gaining responsibility, technical proficiency, and independence.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (ABET-accredited), EIT certification, and at least 3 years of relevant experience, with proficiency in engineering software and drafting tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, analysis, and design of civil engineering projects per codes and standards.
• Prepare calculations, documentation, and deliverables under senior engineers.
• Coordinate with project managers and multidisciplinary teams to support project delivery.
• Communicate technical information clearly in documents, drawings, and meetings.
• Manage assigned tasks to meet schedules and quality expectations.
• Adhere to company safety procedures and professional standards.
• Support site development design including grading, drainage, utilities, and zoning reports.
